Hot Dogs are generally a pre-cooked
pork sausage. However, British sausages are generally not pre-cooked and vary from region to region. Frankfurters are named for the city of
Frankfurt, Germany where sausages in a bun are said to have originated. Wieners refer to the city of Vienna,Austria, also home to a well known pork
and beef sausage.
