Our southwestern style corn tortilla chips with our medium-hot salsa for dipping are perfect for those who just want to nibble.

Hummus n’ Pita, $4.95

Pita triangles served in a basket with our fresh made hummus and a side of roasted garlic aioli for added flavour.

stallion head The word “Penobscot” originates from the “Penawapskewi”, an indigenous people of what is now known as Maritime Canada and Maine. It means “rocky part” and originally referred to the portion of the Penobscot River between Old Town and Bangor. There were no horses in North America until the colonists brought them over from Europe, so the Penobscots used dogs as pack animals and travel over land.

Chicken Dipper Strips, $8.95

Five large all white meat breaded chicken pieces, fresh fried and served with our own honey mustard dipping sauce.

Coconut Shrimp, $8.95

Deep fried coconut-encrusted shrimp served with orange Seville marmalade for dipping.

Penebscot Skins, $8.95

Shredded cheese melted in Maine potato skins with crumbled bacon and served with sour cream.

Bruschetta, $6.95

Fresh diced tomatoes and red onions with minced garlic tossed in a balsamic marinade with fresh basil and a whisper of parmesan cheese on toasted baguette slices. A traditional creation from central Italy that dates back to the 15th century.

Nachos Grandes, $9.95

Crispy and gluten-free, our tortilla chips are topped with fresh diced tomatoes, red onions, Spanish olives and fresh jalapeño peppers smothered in melted Cheddar cheese. Great for two!

Add $2.00 for diced chicken, seasoned beef or our own chili.

Buffalo Tenders, $8.95

Spiced breading on all white meat chicken give these tenders a slight kick. We serve them with bleu cheese dressing for dipping, but let us know if you want to try a different flavour

Jalapeño Poppers, $7.95

Stuffed with chicken and jack cheese, these real jalapeño peppers are deep fried and served with ranch dressing to cool things off.

Fried Mozzarella, $6.95

Breaded Italian mozzarella strips deep fried and served with a side of our home-made marinara sauce.

Beef or Chicken Quesadilla, $9.95

Filled with cheese, chopped onions and peppers with Mexican spices, we serve fresh salsa and sour cream on the side with this spicy appetizer.

Triple Crown Trifecta Platter, $11.95

We offer three seafood selections in this sampler; fresh fried sea scallops, coconut shrimp and clam strips. Our fresh cut French fries are served unless you’d prefer onion rings. Tartar sauce, orange Seville marmalade and ketchup accompany this platter. Enjoy!

Italian Stallion Platter, $9.95

Our selection of fresh fried appetizers includes cheese filled raviolis, breaded zucchini and mozzarella. This trio is served with our home-made marinara sauce for dipping.
* Our raviolis and zucchini sticks are also available on their own for $6.95 each.

The Royal Ascot, $10.95

A handful of chicken tenders and honey mustard sauce, coupled with a handful of our buffalo chicken tenders for a touch of spice with a side of bleu cheese dressing. Add your choice of fresh cut fries or onion rings and this platter takes the crown!

stallion head The term Triple Crown originated in England when in 1853 British bred thoroughbred West Australian won the three races that make up the Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing. The three races are: The 2,000 Guineas Stakes in Newmarket, Sussex; The Epsom Derby in Epsom, Surrey; and The St. Leger Stakes in Doncaster, Yorkshire. One of only fifteen winners, Nijinsky II is the last thoroughbred to take the title back in 1970.

Butties and Sarnies

Said to have been invented by the 4th Earl of Sandwich so that he could eat more conveniently at the gaming table, nobody really knows why the English call sandwiches a “butty” or a “sarnie”. Ours are served with lettuce, tomato and onion unless otherwise specified. Hot butties are served with our own hand cut fries.

Classic Reuben, $8.95

Extra lean corned beef shaved thin with German sauerkraut, melted Swiss cheese and Thousand Island dressing on toasted marble rye bread. Our recipe is direct from the Reuben Restaurant on 58th Street, New York, NY.

The Stallion Club, $8.95

Swiss cheese with fresh sliced turkey breast, applewood-smoked bacon, green leaf lettuce and sliced tomato layered on chiabatta bread with our home-made honey mustard. Choose chips, German potato salad or cole slaw with your club.

Philly Cheese Steak, $9.95

Lean shaved steak sautéed with onions, peppers and mushrooms, then topped with sliced provolone cheese and broiled until bubbly. You would swear your were in the City of Brotherly Love!


Copper Stallion Classics

stallion head  The British Horse Society (BHS) was founded in 1947 with the amalgamation of two organisations - the Institute of the Horse and Pony Club, and the National Horse Association of Great Britain. Its activities are overseen by the Charity Commissioners and the Patron of the Society is Her Majesty the Queen. The BHS Equestrian Hall of Fame celebrates the heroes and heroines — human and equine — of the equestrian world.

HRH Prince Philip is a recent laureate and has represented Britain at several European and World Championships and, in 1968, he initiated the formulation of new rules for the modern Horse Driving Trials. His daughter, HRH the Princess Royal, also a laureate, won the Burghley three-day event in 1971 aboard Doublet, when it was the European Championships.

A mélange of crisp lettuces with rows of chopped avocado and hard boiled eggs, diced tomatoes and red onion, crumbled bacon and bleu cheese and large grilled shrimp. This popular salad originated in California and is traditionally served with a vinaigrette dressing but your can choose your own.

A hearty salad of chopped romaine tossed with diced red onions, crumbled bacon, walnuts and feta cheese tossed in our homemade Dijon vinaigrette dressing. Diced apples are combined to give it just the right amount of sweetness to a lightly piquant meal.

stallion head  The horses of the hunt, called “field hunters” or hunters are ridden by followers of the hunt. Hunters can range from specially bred and trained field hunters to a wide variety of horse and pony types. Hunters must be well-mannered, have the athletic ability to clear large obstacles such as wide ditches, tall fences and rock walls, and have the stamina to keep up with the hounds. The most prominent role of the hunt is the master, who typically takes on the financial responsibility for the overall management of the sport. The Masters of Foxhounds Association is the governing body for all foxhound packs in Britain, Ireland and the US.

A grilled chicken breast smothered in our bruschetta blend of diced tomatoes, red onions, fresh basil and garlic in balsamic vinaigrette and set atop a large bed of fresh lettuces and topped off with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese.

Marinated sirloin tips atop fresh lettuce and baby spinach with diced tomatoes, avocado and crumbled bleu cheese. We top this off with freshly sliced onion bistro rings. You’ve got to try this!

For this impressive feast we adorn our traditional Caesar salad with strips of teriyaki chicken and glazed sirloin tips with a sprinkling of toasted sesame seeds.

A whiskey marinade adds a new flavour to our 10 ounces of sirloin tips, accompanied by a generous handful of grilled large shrimp make this a satisfying meal. Grilled to your preferred temperature. Our meal is served with garlic mashed potatoes, fresh vegetable of the day and a dinner salad.

stallion head  The Duke was a racehorse that won the first Great Liverpool Steeplechase at Aintree, later to be officially renamed the Grand National in 1839. His rider was Captain Martin Becher, a former soldier during the Napoleonic wars, after whom the famous fence Becher’s Brook was named. He won the Grand National in 1836, 1837, and came in third in 1838 before his fateful tumble in 1839.

stallion head The largest holiday resort on the North Sea, Scarborough is well known for its artistic culture and jazz festivals, as well as its fresh sea catch. Scarborough Fair, beautified in the song, was a six week long trading festival that brought merchants from all over Europe up through the 18th century.

Baked Scrod, $15.95

Dry vermouth gives our haddock filet an alluring flavour as it bakes with our fresh lemon and buttered cracker crumbs with fresh ground pepper. We serve rice pilaf, unless you specify garlic mashed, and the fresh vegetable of the day with our scrod.

stallion head There is no such fish as scrod; it merely means “Catch of the Day”. The term probably came from the Dutch term, “schrod” – to fillet. There is still argument over where the term was derived, but most give credit to the fisheries of Boston, MA.

stallion head  A century ago stuffed pasta with vegetable-based fillings were eaten on Fridays and in Lent by the well off, and eaten year round by those too poor to buy meat. The meat-stuffed varieties, on the other hand, were a day-after treat made with the left over meats from Sunday dinners or festive meals. Times have changed, and now most Italians buy stuffed pasta ready made.

Our Signature Cottage Pie, $15.95

Truly an authentic British dish that cannot be matched and only available at The Stallion. Fresh ground sirloin combined with garden carrots, corn and peas with secret seasonings and topped with our own garlic mashed potatoes and baked. Our savory pie is served with beef gravy and melted cheese. Only the hungriest can make it disappear! (Shepherd’s pie is made with ground lamb; hence the term.)

Bangers & Mash, $15.95

These bangers are unique to The Copper Stallion using an authentic Cumberland sausage recipe with finely minced pork tenderloin and the right amount of seasonings. Served with our own garlic mashed potatoes and fresh vegetable of the day, enjoy our bangers with our homemade onion gravy.

stallion head  The Grand National Steeplechase is world renowned and regarded as one of the most difficult of all courses to successfully complete with 16 fences, including Canal Turn and Beecher’s Brook being so notorious that even the names strike fear into most jockeys. Run over 4 ½ miles, out of the 40 horses that enter the race, fewer than 10 may in fact complete the course. The racecourse is located in Aintree, Liverpool.

The Grand National Mixed Grill, $18.95

Bangers, marinated sirloin tips and chicken medallions dredged in a delicate seasoning rub and then grilled. We set this atop a bed of rice pilaf and grilled fresh vegetables. Served with a side dinner salad.

Ye Olde Fish & Chips, $14.95

Tender, white, flaky Atlantic haddock dipped in our famous beer batter and fresh fried to a golden brown and served with our own hand cut fries, cole slaw and tartar sauce. We believe that what people are saying is true: it is “the best fish & chips this side of the Atlantic.”

Located on Sir Matt Busby Way, Manchester United’s stadium in Old Trafford is known as the Theatre of Dreams and has a seating capacity that can accommodate over 76,000 soccer fans.

Old Trafford Chicken Pot Pie, $13.95

Chunks of white meat chicken and fresh vegetables in a creamy herbed-broth topped with a flaky puff pastry; just like it was back in medieval times. We serve our pie with a dollop of our garlic mashed potatoes.
