Afters

Served all day!
The traditional dessert course in
Britain if often referred to as “afters”. Puddings are made with the same basic ingredients of milk, sugar, flour
and eggs. They can be baked, boiled
or steamed. Dishes are simple and
traditional with many recipes being passed down from generation to
generation. Fresh fruits,
custards, cream and cakes were later added to recipes. “The proof of the pudding’s in the
eating.”
Joni’s Apple Crisp, $6.00
Locally
grown Ida Reds from Breezelands Orchards baked with a sugary-oat topping and
served with a dollop of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Save room in your tummy for this
dessert!

Brownie à la mode, $6.00
Triple chocolate brownie with cream cheese warmed and served with a scoop of vanilla
ice cream, whipped cream and chocolate sauce.

Vanilla Ice Cream, $3.00
We top our ice cream with whipped cream and a chocolate or fruit sauce.
We can also serve it plain if that’s how you like it! Just let us know.

Chocolate Mousse, $6.00
A chocolate lover’s dream. We make our mousse with Ghiradelli bittersweet chocolate
and cream. Oh, we might have a few secret ingredients in there, too.

Madagascan Bread Pudding, $5.00
Macerated sultanas with cubes of Italian bread soaked in custard and Madagascan
vanilla cognac. Served with a dollop of vanilla ice cream and garnished with raspberry drizzles. A Stallion original!
